Homemade hard apple cider is best bottled in standard beer bottles. These single serving sizes reduce waste from unfinished bottles once they are open. The beer bottle is strong enough to hold the pressure of sparkling cider and the crown caps provide a tight seal. You will need a bottle capper in order to close beer bottles.
