The Mix Stir
THE MIX STIR $19.95
The Mix-stir is an effective de-gassing and mixing tool for home winemaking. It fits any variable speed electric hand drill and will remove the carbon dioxide trapped within fermented wine. At 24 inches long, it’s perfect for large primary fermentors, barrels, and both glass and plastic carboys.

STAINLESS MIX STIR $33.95

The S/S Mix-stir (stainless steel) has an un-breakable steel rod and the same plastic, hinged blades as the original, so it is safe to use with glass carboys. It will also fit any variable speed hand drill. We recommend that you use our drilled Glass Carboy Airlock Stopper with the Stainless Steel Mix Stir to protect the neck of the carboy. Simply insert the shaft through the stopper prior to attaching it to the drill.

The Brew Infuser is constructed from high-grade stainless steel and has a 4” chain with hook to allow it to hang from the inside of a pot or suspended in a carboy or fermenter pail. The 11.5” x 1.5” mesh “tube” can hold approximately four ounces of hops and can also be used for oak chips, cinnamon sticks, elderberries, peppers or any other additive you'd like.
