Amber Draft-to-Go Screw-Top Growler

Take a half gallon of your local breweries best beer home with you in one of these dark amber bottles or ‘growlers’ with an air tight screw-cap. The term ‘growler’ comes from a European term describing a bucket for transporting beer before bottles and cans. In the past, children would be sent to the nearest brewpub by their father to have the growler filled. Today's growler is a 64 oz. glass jug. They are sold in cases of 6 or each, with white plastic cap. These are not recommeded for bottle conditioning homebrew.
