Galena is an excellent dual purpose, high alpha acid hop with balanced bittering and citrus aroma characteristics. It was developed in 1968 through open pollination of Brewer’s Gold. Typical beer styles include most English and American style Ales. Possible substitutions include Brewer’s Gold, Columbus and Nugget. Alpha: 12.0-14.0%; Beta: 7.0-9.0%
