
Munich Malt has a “malty” flavor characteristic and can impart “sweetness”. It can add a reddish amber color to beer. Munich malt is used as the base malt of the Bock beer style and appears in some lagers with a darker grain than pale malt. Dingemans Munich malt undergoes higher kilning temperatures than pale malt. The resulting malt will lend a full, malty flavor and aroma, and an orange-amber color.
