
This dual purpose variety is less spicy thatn the Hallertau Mittelfruh and able to retain its clean taste even in older beers. Released in 1988 it has a distinct floral, slight citrus/lime aroma. Typical beer styles include Lagers, Pilsners, Bitters, Ales and Bocks. Possible substitutions include German Hallertau, Tettnang and Perle. Alpha: 6.5-8.5%; Beta: ~8.5%
