Santiam is an American aroma hop that contains noble hop characteristics. Released in 1997, it’s grown on limited but stable acreage and is slightly spicy with herbal and floral tones. Typical beer styles include Lager, Pilsner, Belgian Tripel, Kolsch, Bock and Munich Helles. Possible substitutions include German Spalt, German Spalter Select and German Tettnang. Alpha: 5.0-7.0%; Beta: 6.0-8.5%
