Mead or honey wine is the oldest wine on earth. Meads are made of pure honey and water which is fermented by wine yeast. Melomel is mead made with fruit, pyment is mead made of grape and cyser is made with apple cider and honey.

The first time mead maker will find that the equipment kit listed below and one of the recipe kits that follow are the best way to get started. You will recieve everything you need with the exception of wine bottles and You will be making mead as soon as your kit arrives.

This Wine and Mead System provides all the equipment and ingredients needed to produce three gallons of fruit wine from concentrate or fresh juice or three gallons of any style mead. We combine all the equipment in a single package to make 18 bottles of wine. You supply the fresh fruit, grape juice or honey.

Stronger than dry white wine made from grapes and can reach 18% abv. This kit includes 6 pounds of honey and Cuvee yeast. Ingredients for 3 gallons.

Peach Melomel Recipe $39.95
This kit features 6 pounds of honey and 3 pounds of pure peach puree and Cote Des Blanc wine yeast. Ingredients for 3 gallons.

Pyment Recipe $39.95

Sweet Mead Recipe $29.95
Slightly weaker than dry mead and has stronger honey flavor and character. The sweetness comes from the 6 pounds of honey and Cote Des Blanc wine yeast. Ingredients for 3 gallons.
