When making your own sausage or cured meats like bacon or corned beef, it is easy to become tempted to use less expensive cuts of meat in an effort to save money. We have found that combining better cuts with lower cost selections will make a better sausage. We have found that beef chuck and pork shoulder makes the best sausages.
