Garlic Lovers Hot Sauce
Yield: 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper Mash or 12 fresh Cayenne peppers
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder Granules
- 1 tsp Curry Powder
- 1 tsp Flaked Salt
- 4 cloves fresh garlic finely minced
- 2 fresh plum tomatoes or 6 oz can tomato juice
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp allspice
- 2 Tbsp sugar
Procedure
If using fresh tomatoes, place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. If using juice, omit this step.
Place all ingredients into a saucepan, bring to a simmer and hold at 180° F for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and bottle as described in Bottling Hot Sauce.
If using a dropper fitment on bottle you may need to strain fresh garlic from the sauce before bottling.
