Here’s a twist on the predictable box of chocolates. Make homemade wine jelly for your sweetheart. If you have been ageing a batch of our seasonal Chocolate Raspberry Port, give this recipe a try. The recipe will also work with any bottle of dry red wine.
Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pan. Bring to a rolling boil and continue to boil for one minute. Turn off the heat and pour the hot mixture into sterilized jelly jars. Close the jars with canning lids and allow them to cool and seal. Serving tip: This jelly looks great served in a wine glass with a plate of crackers and cheese!
