Barolo is produced from the Nebbiolo grape and often described as one of Italy’s greatest wines. It originated in the northern Italian region of Piedmont from and is usually designated Denominazione di origine controllata ("Controlled designation of origin"). Barolo is described as having the aromas of tar and roses; it is also noted for its ability to age. When aged for at least five years before it’s released, it can be labeled as a ‘Riserva’, meaning of higher quality or a wine aged before being sold or both. Winexpert’s Eclipse Barolo with grape skins is intense and robust with hints of strawberries and dark tar, complemented by rich truffles. The use of grape skins extracts huge amounts of tannins resulting in a rich, full bodied wine. Top off your bottles with quality corks and decorative shrink caps. Kit Instructions.
